About Me

Andrea Thomas

I am a well-qualified and experienced Teacher of English as a foreign language, specialising in one-to-one English courses for both adults and young people.  I am based in the South East of England, within easy reach of London. I teach General English, Business English and Exam preparation lessons. My courses are suitable for students with all levels of English.

I worked as an Adult Education English teacher from 2002, before moving to specialise in private English tuition in 2014.  Since 2014 I have been teaching English immersion homestay courses and English online courses. Prior to qualifying as a teacher,  I worked in international Human Resources management. I have degree in Modern Languages and have travelled extensively.

Wednesday: 06.00 to 18.00

Thursday: 06.00 to 18.00

Friday: 06.00 to 18.00

  • Expand your vocabulary, including idioms & expressions
  • Identify and target any areas of weakness
  • Improve your grammar and syntax accuracy in spoken and written English

The One-to-One Exam preparation course is the most effective way of studying English for an exam. I will identify the key areas of improvement specifically for your chosen examination. I will develop a course to help you to rectify your weaknesses and work through past exam papers, so you are well prepared.

The One-to-One Business English course provides the structure to rapidly improve your English in your specific field.
